Jessica Salgado is an independent filmmaker and editor shooting out of Los Angeles by way of San Diego, CA. Jessica has made several short films, mostly dealing with themes involving the absolute drudgery of work, the negative yet humorous effects of overthinking, debilitating depression, and the obsessiveness brought on by constant access to social media. She has edited videos for various independent filmmakers and for a prestigious law firm for purposes of mediation and trial. Her shorts have gone on to win multiple awards at both reputable, smaller festivals and international festivals such as Final Girls Berlin Film Festival, Santiago Horror Film Festival, and Lady Filmmakers Film Festival. She currently resides in central Los Angeles where she makes a perfect life for her Boston Terrier, Colette.
